Air Conditioning Service for Shenandoah, Texas since 1994
Trusted A/C Replacement, A/C Repairs, and A/C Maintenance from John Moore’s HVAC experts.
After being incorporated into a city in 1974, Shenandoah has grown into a flourishing community known for its thriving businesses and high standards of service when it comes to city planning. And John Moore believes that these same high standards should be expected when it comes to your A/C service provider. After all, your home has an infrastructure all its own: your HVAC system. (And also its plumbing, but we’ll save that for another page.)
After cooling and heating your home for 10 or more years, your home’s HVAC system will start to function less effectively, leading the air in your home to feel less comfortable. Of course, regular HVAC maintenance- cleaning your A/C coils and condensate drain line, replacing your air filter every month or so, and regularly inspecting your system- can add some years to your A/C system. But if the air in your home no longer reaches a comfortable temperature and you notice several problems with your A/C system, it’s time for an upgrade.
John Moore’s HVAC Services Include:- A/C Replacements and Zone System Upgrades
- A/C Repairs including Condensate Drain Line Repairs and Air Duct Resizing
- A/C Maintenance and Tune-upIndoor Air Quality including Air Duct Cleaning
Keeping Your Shenandoah Home Cool with A/C Replacements
There are many benefits to replacing your A/C after 10 years of keeping you and your family cool.
New A/C systems are a lot more efficient than they once were, so you can expect to save on your energy bill every month. Also, when you upgrade to a new A/C system, there are rebates and tax-credits you can take advantage of. John Moore works closely with several manufacturers including Trane® and Daiken, so we can provide you with the best available rebate options.
But the biggest reason you may want to consider replacing your A/C is to comply with the ban on R-22 refrigerant. R-22 (also known as Freon™) is being phased-out by the EPA so that by the year 2020, it will be impossible to legally acquire. For homeowners with A/C systems that use R-22 refrigerant, this means that if your A/C system leaks refrigerant during or after 2020, you will have to replace it with a system that uses R-410A. Although this isn’t the best news, knowing now will help you plan for a new HVAC system in the near future.

If you want your A/C to keep your home feeling cool and comfortable for more than 10 years, it’s important to maintain your A/C system.
It’s recommended to have your A/C tuned and inspected once or twice a year. John Moore’s $69 A/C tune-up and 28-point inspection covers all the bases: we clean your coils, drain line, air registers, fan, and inspect all the crucial parts of your A/C to pinpoint any minor issues before they become costly repairs or damage your A/C system.
Do you feel that certain rooms in your home aren’t cooling to the temperature you set your thermostat to? Do you see water marks on your ceiling? Does your condenser unit make strange sounds? John Moore has A/C repair options to get your A/C system back up and running! We repair condensate drain lines, resize and rebalance air ducts, and fix a number of problems with condensers, blower motors, and furnaces every day.
