Reliable Cypress A/C Replacement Work
If your AC is more than ten years old, it may be time to have a new AC system installed.
Newer Cypress air conditioning systems are more efficient, which means you are likely to save money on your energy bills. There are also a few tax-credits and rebates you can take advantage of when you upgrade. But the biggest reason you may want to upgrade to a new HVAC system is that your current A/C may be obsolete by 2020.
Let Our Experts in AC Repair Cypress Handle Your Refrigerant Needs. Here’s why: R-22 refrigerant will be completely phased out by 2020. If your A/C leaks R-22 refrigerant during or after the year 2020, you may be forced to upgrade to a new A/C system that operates using R-410A refrigerant. You can see what type of refrigerant your A/C uses now by checking the manufacturer’s label located on the A/C condenser unit outside of your home. If your A/C does use R-22, let John Moore help you plan ahead and start saving today.
With our 0% financing, 10-year parts warranty and one-year labor warranty, there’s never been a better- or smarter- time to upgrade.

Even if your HVAC system is new, you should have it tuned-up and inspected annually.
Your home’s air conditioning system has a lot of components that all work with one another to control the temperature of your home. Outside, your compressor pumps cool refrigerant to an evaporator coil in your attic. This coil gets really cold so that it can cool the air your system’s blower blows past it and into your home’s ductwork. The cool refrigerant in your home warms as it absorbs heat, and is then pushed back outside to your compressor where the cycle starts all over again. Furthermore, condensation from your evaporator coil is drained through a condensate drain line so that it doesn’t ruin your ceilings.
Over time, if your A/C system isn’t maintained, coils will get dirty, belts will break, and electrical components will start to short. Not only that, but your air ducts can be crushed or penetrated if you’re not careful in your attic. And it’s quite common for your condensate drain line to back-up with algae if it isn’t cleaned out at least twice a year.
If you notice water leaks on your ceiling, strange noises coming from your A/C condenser, or rooms in your home that won’t reach the temperature set on your A/C, you should call for a diagnosis and repair as soon as possible before the problem gets worse.
Call Us For A/C Repair in Cypress Texas Today! The best way to prevent any of these malfunctions from happening in the first place is with regular A/C maintenance.
