John Moore Services Hosts Community Blood Drive
The blood drive, benefitting Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, will be held Wednesday, June 24th from 8:00am – 12:30pm at the John Moore office located at 10005 West Sam Houston Pkwy N. Houston, Texas 77064. All adults 17 and older are welcome, and those interested in donating are asked to pre-register here.
In addition to saving lives, blood donors at this community event will automatically receive a COVID-19 Antibody test. This test will be performed in addition to the standard testing all blood donations receive. Results of the antibody test will be available to the donor in approximately 3 business days.
This test is authorized by the FDA only for detecting the presence of antibodies against SARS-Co V-2 and is not intended for diagnosis of COVID-19. View PDF of FAQ Fact Sheet for Donors for more information.
The safety of our donors and staff is paramount: safe social distancing will be practiced, every surface will be constantly sanitized, group sizes limited, no reusable items will the utilized, and everyone will be wearing masks inside the donor coach.
With surgeries starting back up at Houston area hospitals, the need for more blood donations is growing daily. Blood donations are essential to keep the blood supply strong and steady. The John Moore team invites you join us in bringing on community together to make a difference and save lives. BE A HERO! CHANGE SOMEONE'S LIFE.
